We cover every new garage door installation completed by our team with our labor warranty. This warranty covers our team’s workmanship, while parts and door panels are generally covered by a separate warranty through the manufacturer.

Comprehensive Garage Door Repair Warranty

The repair warranty covers both labor and materials in any garage door overhaul project. Beyond just the workmanship, our garage door warranty covers defects in springs and other components supplied by our team during a repair. This warranty is our most robust coverage for an existing door, giving you the peace of mind that our team is there for you should the repairs need a second look.

Garage Door Opener Warranty

The garage door opener warranty is available in two parts. We provide coverage for labor in any garage door installation, with the actual device covered by the manufacturer. However, for an extensive garage door repair in which we supplied the opener or its parts, Precision Garage Door of Myrtle Beach will cover both the labor and the opener.

For overhaul projects, we often recommend the PDS 370 opener, which features our silent DC motor for smooth operation. The soft-start and soft-stop functionality reduce wear on both the opener and the garage door, further extending their lifespan.

Understanding Your Garage Door Warranty Period

Our warranty periods differ depending on your chosen service. However, we will always clearly print the warranty duration and terms in the “Warranty Options” section on the front page of your invoice.

• New installations: Our warranty for new installation projects will be clearly printed on your invoice and will be effective from the day of the installation. However, if this section is blank, then the warranty defaults to a 90-day coverage.
• Overhaul projects: For extensive repairs, the warranty lasts as long as the original customer owns the garage door. The warranty is automatically voided upon the sale or transfer of the property.
• Garage door openers: We will help you keep your door functional with a limited lifetime warranty on openers replaced or furnished by our team. Customers who choose the PDS 370 also get an eight-year warranty on parts, five years on the integrated 1,100 lumen LEDs and a one-year warranty for accessories.
• Partial repairs: Minor garage door repairs are backed by a 90-day warranty that covers both parts supplied by our team and labor.

General Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered in our warranty or void the warranty:

• Work completed or materials provided by anyone other than an authorized, uniformed technician from Precision Garage Door of Myrtle Beach. Allowing anyone else to work on your door will immediately void your warranty.
• Consequences or incidental damage to property or injury to people.
• Doors with misaligned, displaced or disconnected cables.
• Garage door damage resulting from abuse, misuse, civil disturbance or natural weather phenomenon.
• Any commercial repairs or installations.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Your invoice is your receipt and must be presented before warranty work will be provided.
